Has anyone had a SCCF die or is it just the other carts
did they fix rom compression or anything for gba

bah, i have an SCCF thats opaque, and not to mention, it doesn't have screws either

should I give it a go? if it fails, is there a repair?

it looks like there is no working repair, i don't think any cf carts have screws, i would just wait until they fix this problem

Aw crap. My Cf didn't work. I made another post about it. I'll delete it. And wat to fix this?
It's still stuck at 32% and is on. what can I do?

What about CFs? Mine's busted now!

EDIT: I guess it's cause mine's one of the older CFs that don't work on Micros? Romman better offer to replace all the ones he ruined with this update.

You updated at your own risk. It's not Romman's fault. Plus, it worked for me, so I don't need to complain.

Weird...  My Supercard SD only has a lattice chip, Hynix and no CB or MX anywhere to be found...  I'm not sure I'll risk updating to 1.63 yet

well, if your supercard has only a lattice chip it's almost for sure a fake supercard..

:lol: No, it's not 'almost certainly' fake. Mine is also a lattice chip, I recieved it last Christmas, long before the fakes were even a faint thought. I don't use it much anymore since I got the SCL so I'll try updating it and tell you my results.

Mine too is a Lattice chip. I bought it last September, and the update ran flawlessly.

I'm sure you'd be singing the same tune if yours was busted.
If I had busted it by not installing it correctly I'd understand, but if he released a faulty firmware then it's his fault and it'd be poor custormer support if he didn't offer to fix them. I've already had to suffer though mine not working on my micro.
